General Program Information
SheBuilds 2025 is an intensive 8-week bootcamp program specifically designed to empower women with in-demand skills in Front End Development, Back End Development, Product Design, and Product Management. It focuses on hands-on learning, mentorship, and culminates in a hackathon, followed by a full year of post-program support.
SheBuilds 2025 is for ambitious women who are passionate about technology, eager to gain practical product development skills, and are committed to launching or accelerating their careers in the tech industry. Whether you’re a beginner looking to switch careers or someone with foundational knowledge aiming to specialize, this program is for you.
SheBuilds 2025 stands out due to its cross-functional team-based learning model, dedicated industry mentorship, a strong emphasis on practical product building through a culminating hackathon, and comprehensive 1-year post-program career and community support provided by Niyo Labs.
Eligibility & Application Process
While prior extensive tech experience is not strictly required, a strong passion for learning, a foundational understanding of logical thinking, and a basic familiarity with computers are essential. Each track has specific preliminary assessment requirements.
The application process involves several steps:
- Submit the Application Form: Complete our online application form.
- Initial Call: Receive a confirmation email and schedule a brief introductory call with our team.
- Coderbyte Test: If invited, complete a preliminary assessment on Coderbyte within 72 hours.
- Second Call (Onboarding): Successful test-takers will have a second call to discuss program details and sign the agreement.
- Program Fee Payment: Secure your spot by paying the program fee.
- Official Onboarding: Get onboarded for the 1-year program.
The application deadline for SheBuilds 2025 is August 3rd, 2025. We encourage early applications as spots are limited.
The Coderbyte test is a preliminary assessment used for all tracks to gauge your foundational problem-solving and coding aptitude. It helps us ensure you have the basic logical skills to succeed in the program.
You will have 72 hours to complete the Coderbyte test from the moment you access it.
Program Structure & Content
The program offers four specialized tracks:
- Front End Development: Building interactive user interfaces.
- Back End Development: Creating server-side logic and managing databases.
- Product Design: Crafting user-centric digital experiences.
Product Management: Leading product strategy, development, and launch.
The intensive bootcamp phase of SheBuilds 2025 is 8 weeks long. This is followed by 1 year of post-program support.
- Front End Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Git/GitHub, Responsive Design principles.
- Back End Development (Node.js): JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB (with Mongoose), RESTful API design, Authentication (JWT), Git/GitHub.
- Product Design: User Research methods, Information Architecture, Wireframing, UI Design principles, Figma (primary tool), Prototyping, Usability Testing, Design Systems.
- Product Management: Product Vision & Strategy, Market Research, User Stories, Prioritization Frameworks, Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), Roadmapping, KPIs, Product Launch, Stakeholder Management.
The hackathon is the exciting culmination of the 8-week bootcamp. Participants will be split into cross-functional teams (including all four tracks) to ideate, design, build, and pitch a product solution to a real-world problem within a concentrated period. Teams compete for prizes and showcase their collective skills.

Yes! A key component of SheBuilds 2025 is dedicated mentorship. You will be paired with an experienced industry professional who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout your learning journey.
Your journey with SheBuilds extends for a full year after the 8-week bootcamp. This includes:

- Access to online-learning platform Niyo Labs
- Networking opportunities with alumni and industry professionals.
- Continued access to the SheBuilds community for peer support and knowledge sharing.
- Potential for advanced workshops or masterclasses.
Cost & Payment
Details about the program fee will be shared during your onboarding process. We are committed to ensuring the program remains accessible to as many women as possible.
Yes. We understand that financial investment is an important consideration. We offer a limited number of partial scholarships and flexible payment plans through our trusted payment partner, EdAid. More details on eligibility and how to apply will be discussed during your second onboarding call.
Payment details, including timelines, will be communicated after your second onboarding call and once your program agreement is signed. This ensures clarity and allows you to make an informed decision before securing your place in the cohort.
Post-Program & Career
Our 1-year post-program support includes resume/portfolio reviews, mock interview workshops, access to curated job boards, networking events with potential employers, and dedicated career coaching to help you land your desired role.
Graduates from our program will be well-prepared for entry-level to junior roles such as: Front End Developer Back End Developer UX/UI Designer Product Designer Associate Product Manager And other related roles in tech and product development.
Yes, upon successful completion of the 8-week bootcamp and the hackathon, you will receive a certificate of completion from SheBuilds 2025, you will also receive 6 months access to our online learning platform, powered by Niyo Labs.
Technical & Logistics
You will need a reliable computer (laptop or desktop) with a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. Specific software requirements for each track (e.g., VS Code for development, Figma for design) will be provided in your onboarding pack.
The exact schedule will be shared in your onboarding pack, but expect a significant time commitment for lectures, workshops, assignments, and team collaboration. While a virtual program, it is designed to be immersive.
