“Gbolade Okeowo is a barrister turned Investment Banker with over 12 years Investment Banking, Corporate Finance and Private Equity years experience across sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

He Currently works as a Vice President with Kuramo Capital Management LLC – a $500m multi asset class investment vehicle focused on investing in African businesses that have strong records of improving the lives of the young Africans and women, whilst maintaining a clear path to delivering superior returns to investors.

Prior to joining Kuramo, Gbolade worked with the Mergers & Acquisitions (“”M&A””) team at Standard Chartered Bank – advising on over $400m of completed M&A transactions.

Since 2019, Gbolade has served as fund raising mentor to several innovative entrepreneurs across sub Saharan Africa, helping them raise over $20m in debt and equity. These roles include:
• Chairman of the Finance & Investment Committee for Intelligra Solutions Limited
• a non-executive Director for Intelligra Solutions Limited – a fintech focused on device financing solutions with presence in Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda Tanzania and Congo D.R.
• a start up fund raising mentor for the Venture Capital Association for Africa
• a start up fund raising mentor at the Financial Services Association of Nigeria

Gbolade qualified as a barrister solicitor in Nigeria in 2012, obtained his MBA (with Distinction) from the University of Dundee in 2010 and LLB Law Degree from the University of Hull in 2007. He has passed CFA level I.”
